Common Name The Florencia Lepanthes [reference unclear]

Found in Antioquia department of Colombia at elevations around 2500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 4, microscopically ciliate-scabrous lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, obovate, obtuse to rounded and cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a slender, erect, loose, 1" [2.5 cm] long including the .6" [1.5 cm] long peduncle, successively single, few flowered inflorescence that carry the flowers beyond the leaf.
