Common Name Hermans' Lepanthes [German Original Collector of Species current]

Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 2000 to 2250 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect ramiocauls enveloped by glabrous lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apcial, erect, elliptic, acute leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a congested, distichous, peduncle .68 to 1" [1.7 to 2.5 cm] long, longer than the leaf, 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long overall, successively single, several flowered inflorescence.
