Found in western Guatemala at elevations of 1500 to 2400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with semi-erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 5, lepanthiform sheaths with microscopically dentate ostia and carrying a single, apical erect, coriaceous, elliptic, tridenticulate apically, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a shorter than the leaf, congested, distichous, .28 to .4" [7 to 10 mm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence.
