Found in Antioquia department of Colombia at elevations around 1820 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 5 to 6 close fitting, cellular-ciliate lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring on a filiform, subdense, long-pedicellate, distichous, slightly flexuous .44 to .56" [1.1 to 1.4 cm] long including the .32 to .44" [8 to 11 mm] long peduncle, successively single, few flowered inflorescence that is slightly longer than the leaf and has muriculate floral bracts.
