Found in Tachira state of Venezuela in cloud forests at elevations around 2700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, suberect ramicauls enveloped by 9 to 11, lepanthiform sheaths with dilated ostia and carrying a single, apical, thinly coriaceous, purple flushed dorsally, elliptical, acute, acuminate, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a loose, flexuous, distichous, filiform, erect, 2" [5cm] long, successively single, several flowered inflorescence.
