Common Name The Long Racemose Lepanthes - In Venezuela The Grimace Lepanthes
Flower Size .16" [4 mm]
Found in Aragua state of Venezuela in dwarf cloud forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped completely by 3 to 5, inflated minutely ciliate apically, acute lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, suborbicular to ovoid, obtuse, abruptly narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a 2" [5 cm] long, flexuous, successively several flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute floral bracts.
