Common Name The Dwarf Lepanthes

Found in Peru in open woods at elevations around 750 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with filiform, spreading ramicauls enveloped by 5 to 7, close, microscopically hispidulous lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous,ovate to elliptic, rarely oval, acute to obtuse, minutely tridenticulate apically, rounded to cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on 1 to several, erect, shorter than the leaf,congested, distichous, .5" [1.25 cm] long including the peduncle, successively single, 1 to 8 flowered inflorescence on top of the leaf.
