Common Name The Brush Carrying Lepanthes [refers to the appendix]

Found in Antioquia department of Colombia in cloud forests at elevations around 3200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with very slender, weak, erect ramicauls enveloped by 8 qo 10, microscopically scabrous, tight fitting lepanthiform sheaths with acumiante apices and carrying a single, apical, erect, thinly coriaceous, narrowly ovate, acute, acuminate, cuneate and contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a filiform, congested, secund, long pedicellate, to .56 to .68” [1.4 to 1.7 cm] long including the .44 to .56” [1.1 to 1.4 cm] long peduncle, successively single, several flowered inflorescence arising on the top of the leaf.
