Found in Alta Verapz department of Guatemala at elevations around 1400 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, filiform ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 8, brown lepanthiform sheaths with an inflated ostia and carrying a single, apical, ovate-elliptic, tridentate apically leaf that blooms on an erect, 1.8 to 2.8" [4.5 to 7 cm] long, distichous, successively single, 8 to 15 flowered inflorescence.
