Found in Costa Rica without locational data as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with nodding to prostrate, slender ramicauls enveloped by 6 to 8, close fitting, lepanthiform sheaths with oblique microscopically scabrous ostia and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, dark purplish green, purple beneath, ovate, acute, broadly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a filiform, subcongested, 1/2" to .72" [1.2 to 1.8 cm] long, successively 10 to 12 flowered inflorescence
