Common Name Vasquez’s Lepanthes [Bolivian Orchid Enthusiast and Illustrator current]

Found in La Paz department of Bolivia in cloud forests at elevations around 2550 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped completely by 5 to 7, close, glabrous to microscopically scabrous lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect , coriaceous, lightly purple suffused beneath, elliptic, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a, slender, weak, loose, secund, 5.2 to .7.2" [13 to 18 cm] long including the peduncle, successively 2 to 3, few flowered inflorescence.
