Found in Antioquia department of Colombia in cloud forests at elevations around 2590 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, shortly ciliate lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, descending, widely elliptic, glabrous, shortly ciliate margined, rounded below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a .08" [2 mm] long single flowered inflorescence.
