Found in northwestern Venezuela on lakesides and montane forests at elevations around 2800 to 3200 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by around 7 to 11, lepanthiform sheaths with ovate, shortly ciliate ostia and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, lanceolate, oblong-lanceolate to elliptic-ovate, tridenticulate, cuneate to subrounded below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on 1 to 4, dense, fractiflex, distichous, 1.6 to 3.2" [4 to 8 cm] long, laxly, successively several flowered inflorescence.
