Found in Para, Maranhao, Mato Grasso, Goias and Espirito Santo states of Brazil at elevations of 200 to 1000 meters on a plateau with scattered hills as a miniature to small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with clustered, almost cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, long-lanceolate, shallowly terete, non-flexible, light yellow green leaf that blooms on an arching, 2.4" [6 cm] long, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence
