Found in Assam, Cambodia and Vietnam as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid with an erect stem carrying 5 to 6, plicate, suberect, membraneous, elliptic-lanceolate, sessile leaves that blooms in the later spring on a terminal, erect, 4 to 5" [10 to 12.5 cm] long, 25 to 30 flowered inflorescence with minute, ovate floral bracts
