Found in the Moluccas and Sulawesi in mossy montane forests onthe forests florr at elevations of 1400 to 1900 metrs as a medium sized,cool growing terrestrial with a dark maroon-green pseudobulb enveloped by pink and green sheaths that wither away and carrying 3, apical, plicate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, terminal,6" [15 cm] long, to 15 simultaneously flowered inflorescence.
