Flower Size

Found in Madagascar in montane forests at elevations around 900 to 1600 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or terrestrial with small, suborbicular to ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, oblanceolate-linear, finely many veined, attenuate base leaves that blooms in the summer through earlier fall on an erect, longer than the leaves, 4.8 to 6.4" [12 to 16 cm] long, peduncle bare below the middle, above with 4 to 7 sheaths with acute limbus, rachis slightly sinuous, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence with 3 veined, hyaline, very acute, shorter than half the length of the ovary floral bracts.
