Common Name or Meaning The Black Blood-Red Liparis
Flower Size 3/4" [2.1 cm]
Found in Thailand, Vietnam Borneo, Malaysia and Sumatra in lower montane forests at elevations of 1200 to 1800 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrrestrial with close set stems carrying 3 to 4, broadly and obliquely elliptic, triangular acuminate, acute, petillate base leaf that blooms on a winged, to 20" [to 49 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence with broadly triangular, acute floral bracts.
