Flower Size 1/4" [8.5mm]

Found in Hainan China, Taiwan, the eastern Himalayas, India, Sri lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, Borneo and New Guinea in forests on soil covered rocks at elevations of 500 to 1400 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial orchid with an erect stem carrying 3 or so elliptic, undulate margin, acute to obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the clasping base leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, 3" [7.5 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence this one in situ and blooming as of 6/01.
