Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Java and Sumatra at elevations around 1400 to 1700 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, elongate [to 8" - 20 cm] long pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, apical, narrowly lanceoalte, acute, narrowing gradually into the base leaves that blooms on a as long as the leaves, white, to 16" [40 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
