Found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Cost, Nigeria, Cameroon and Gabon as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, clylindric-curved, tapering pseudobulbs carrying 5 to 6, deciduous, flowering with the leavse, dstichous, basally twisted, flat elliptic to oval, subacute leaves that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, pendent, 5.6 to 8" [14 to 20 cm] long, thick cylindric, lowermost 1 to 2 aborted, laxly 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence with linear, floral bracts.
