Common Name The Heart Shaped Leaf Liparis

Found in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Jamaica as a mini-miniature to just miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with a creeping rhizome giving rise at intervals, ovoid-conical pseudobulbs enveloped by leaf bearing sheaths and carrying a single, thin, cordate, acute to abruptly apiculate, , narrowing blowinto the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an angled, peduncle 4" [10 cm] long, rachis 1.6" [4 cm] long, distally crowded several flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying greenish flowers.
Sometimes cited as a synonym of L neuroglossa from Bolivia which has a similar plant but larger flowers with ovate-lanceolate tepals and narrower petals.
