Common Name The Thick Base Liparis [refers to the base of the inflorescence]
Flower Size .53" [1.3 cm] long
Found in Vietnam and western Sumatra at elevations around 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with a stem carrying a single, ovate, gradually acuminate towards the apex, rounded below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, basally thickened, angled to winged, longer than the leaf, 3.6 to 5+" [8.5 to 12.5 cm+] long, thin, slightly winged, laxly many flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute, concave floral bracts.
