Common Name or Meaning The Danguya-Like Liparis [refers to it's affinities to the genus Danguya]

Found in Madagascar in lichen & mossy forests at elevations from 1500 to 1800 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial with cauliform pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 6 to 8 scarious sheaths and carrying 2, apical, widely oval, deep green, plicate, subsessile, shortly acute apically, rounded basally leaves that blooms in the late summer on a terminal, peduncle provided with 3 to 4 bractiform apically sheaths, 3.2 to 4.8" [8 to 12 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with acute, up to 1/3rd the length of the pedicel floral bracts.
