Found in India, Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia in moist deciduous hill forests at elevations of 800 to 1300 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an ovoid becoming globose-ovoid in time, axially compressed, dullwhite with brown scar marks pseudobulb carrying 2 to 3, subequal, sessile, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late spring through summer on an erect, terminal, peduncle 4 angled, 3.6 to 4.48" [9 to 11.5 cm] long, 10" [25 cm] long, loosely 9 to 22 flowered inflorescence.
