Found in northern Madagascar in lichen forsts at elevations of 1200 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with compressed, rounded pseudobulbs carrying 2, lingulate, obtusre to subacute, slightly attenuate towards the base leaves that blooms in the early summer on an erect, as long as slightly longer than the leaves, peduncle short, .8 to 2" [2 to 5 cm] long overall, loosely several flowered inflorescence with as long as the pedicel floral bracts and carrying yellow-brown flowers.
