Found in Guizhou province of China among shaded rocks at elevations around 900 meters as a miniature to small sized warm growing terrestrial with close set, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, oblong to ligulate, narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a compressed, cylindric, to 7.6[19 cm] long, longer than the leaf, narrowly winged, laxly 10 flowered inflorescence with narrowly lanceolate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying orange-yellow flowers.
