Found in southeastern Hainan province of China at elevations around 500 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with densely arranged, ovoid to ovoid-oblong pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, narrowly elliptic-oblong, oblanceolate-oblong to ligulate-oblong, papery, acuminate leaves that blooms in the fall on an arching, [12 to 18 cm] long, pedunclenealy wingless, provided with several sterile, white bracts, rachis laxly 10 to 30 flowered inflorescence with white, linear-lanceolate,shorter to as long as the ovary floral bracts.
