Common Name or Meaning The Forked Liparis [refers to the lip apex]

Found in the Taiping Hills of Malaysia on shaded, mossy, humid banks as a small sized, warm to cool growing litho-terrestrial with an ovate-acute, enlarging with and after flowering, shortly sheathed base leaf that blooms on an erect, purple, to 7.2" [18 cm] long, loosely and successively several to many flowered inflorescence
