Common Name Gamble's Liparis [English Botanist in India later 1800's]

Flower Size .16 to 1/4" [4 to 7 mm]

Found in Bangladesh and the eastern Himalayas at elevations around 1800 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, broadly oblong-elliptic, acute to acuminate, margins crenulate leaf and blooms in the late spring and early summer on a ridged, ebracteate, many flowered, 3.4" to 6.4" [8.5 to 16 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
