Common Name The Toungue-Like Liparis - In China Fang Chun Yang Er Suan
Flower Size .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm]
Found in the western Himalayas, the Chinese Himalayas, southern Yunnan, the eastern Himalayas and Nepal in forests, forest margins and thickets at elevations of 2200 to 3200 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with tufted, oblong to ovoid pseudoibulbs carrying 1, oblong to linear-oblong, obtuse to subacute leaf that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect to horizontal, ridged, ebracteate, glabrous, 4 to 9" [10 to 22.5 cm] long, laxly 7 to 10 flowered inflorescence with linear, acute, single veined floral bracts.
