Found in Hawaii at elevations of 700 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a semi-globose pseudobulb enveloped by dry sheaths and carrying 2, apical, delicate, glossy green, oblong-elliptic, keeled beneath leaves that blooms in the later spring through mid fall on a terminal, erect, to 8" [20 cm] long, 3 to 12 flowered inflorescence with a mniscule floral bract
