Found in north Fujian, north and central Guangxi, central and east Guizhou, Jiangxi, southwest Sichuan and Zhejang provinces of China in forests and on rocks along valleys as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrsetrial or lithophyte with somewhat densely arranged, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, papery, oblanceolate-oblong to suboblong, acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the earlier fall on a slightly compressed, very narrowly winged, 1.6 to 3.2" [4 to 8 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with narrowly lanceolate floral bracts.
