Common Name The Listeria-Like Liparis

Found in Madagascar in mossy forests at elevations around 950 to 1500 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with cauliform stems enveloped by greyish, striate sheaths and carrying 2, oval to elliptic-lanceolate,acute, rounded to compressed widely basally, sessile to very shortly petilate leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, 3.2 to 8" [8 to 20 cm] long, peduncle few bracted, longer to much longer than the rachis, loosely 5 to 20 flowered inflorescence with equal to a third shorter than the pedicel floral bracts and carrying greenish yellow flowers
