Common Name Maingay's Liparis [English Surgeon in Malakka late 1800's]

Flower Size .35" [9mm] long

Found in Malaysia and Sumatra on cliff faces and wet rocks in open forest at elevations of 70 to 1300 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial or lithophyte with a single, ovate-acute leaf with several basal sheaths beneath that blooms on a 6" [15 cm] long, many, closely set flowered inflorescence.
