Common Name Merril's Liparis [Elmer Merrill - American Botanist in the Philippines late 1800's early 1900's]

Found in the Philippines in mossy montane forests at elevations of 300 to 2900 meters as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with 2" [5 cm] between each small, conical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, linear to narrowly oblong, gradually tapering at both ends, deciduous, acute leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a terminal, erect, flattened, strongly winged, to 10" [to 25 cm] long, successively single, several flowered inflorescence
