Common Name or Meaning The Broad Tongued Liparis

Found in Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Gulf of Guinea Islands, Zaire and Uganda in rainforests at elevations around 1300 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with clustered, ovoid to conical-fusiform pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 4 apical, narrowly ovate to ovate to rarely elliptic, acute to shortly acuminate, suberect, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later spring and earlier summer on a terminal, erect, 2 to 3.6" [5 to 9 cm] long, rather densely 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate bracts.
