Found in central Taiwan in forests at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a mini- miniature sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial or lithophyte with flattened, ovoid pseudobulb carrying 2, subsessile, not articulate, obovate, membraneous to herbaceous, acute to obtuse apically, narrowling below into the cuneate base leaves that blooms in the later spring on a 3.2" [8 cm] long, 5 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate floral bracts
