Found in Papua New Guinea in hill forests at elevations of 440 to 800 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with a slender, terete pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, linear, acute, narrowing towards the base, veined leaf that blooms in the spring and fall on a terminal, erect, shorter than the leaf, somewhat flexuous, laxly several flowered, racemose inflorescence with a distant, acuminate, lanceolate scale and ovate, subulate, acuminate floral bracts
