Found in western Sumatra in montane forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with close set, glaucous green-red, ovoid, slightly flattened pseudobulbs carrying erect, glaucous green, lanceolate, acute, gradually narrowing below into petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, peduncle terete, pale glaucous green, .8 to 1.4" [2 to 3.5 cm] long, rachis to 2.8" [7 cm] long, obtuse angled, laxly many flowered inflorescence.
