Common Name The Flag-Carrying Liparis

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama in wet cloud forests at elevations of 1200 to 3250 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a short swollen stem carrying a single, linear-lanceolate, folded, acute leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, winged above, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, laxly 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence carrying color variable flowers
