Found in south Korea in valley on mossy rocks in forests near streams at elevations of 800 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing litho-terrestrial with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, ovate-elliptic, obtuse to subacute, conduplicate, glossy, glabrous, green margin undulate, long petiolate, winged base leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect, terminal, 3.6 to 4.8" [9 to 12 cm] long, 4 to 5 flowered inflorescence with ovate, obtuse, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
