Common Name The Pointed Lockhartia [refers to the leaf]

Flower Size less than 1/2" [less than 1.5 cm]

Found from Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Trinidad and Venezuela in seasonally, wet forests in semi-shade,at altitudes of 100 to 600 meters as a medium sized, pendant, hot to warm growing epiphyte with coriaceous, ovate-triangular, subacute, imbricating leaves that has a terminal or lateral, to 3" [7 to 8 cm] long, paniculate inflorescence with hyaline, small, heart-shaped floral bracts and carrying many flowers occurring mostly in the summer.
