Common Name or Meaning The Oblong Callous Lockhartia

Found near Caripe in Monagas Venezuela at elevations of 1000 to 14000 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a sub-erect in youth to arcuate-pendent in maturity, rather slender stem carrying imbricate, thin, flatly conduplicate leaves taht blooms on an axillary, shortly pedunculate, enveloped completely by pale green, glaucous, relatively large bracts, single flowered inflorescence arising from anywhere along the upper 1/3rd of the stem with pale green, glaucous, relatively large floral bracts and carryinjg flowers with white sepals, petals and lip with short yellow trichomes on the callus.
