Common Name Blanche Ames' Loefgrenianthuis [American Orchidologist and Painter 1900's]

Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

Found in Brasil as a very rare, miniature sized , cool to warm growing epiphyte occuring at elevations of 1700 meters. The plant is a pendant growing, seldom branching, chain of elongating, curving, set of small, flexible, stems with a single, apical, elliptic-lanceolate leaf that blooms in the winter in nature on a terminal short, single flowered inflorescence.
