Found in southwestern India as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with terete, linear, blunt leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, successively single, few flowered inflorescence.
CAUTION!!!!! Kew has this one as a synonym of L tenuifolia but it differs in having a ribbed lip with a spread lip and 2 distinct erect, basal lobes. This is a separate species regardless of the taxonomic situation, More research needs to be done here!
