Common Name The Heart-Shaped Lip Luisia

Found only in Luzon, the Philippines at elevations around 1200 meters as a large sized, hot to warm growing monopodial epiphyte with unbranched stems carrying dark green, fleshy, terete, basally clasping leaves and blooms in the spring on an, opposite the leaves, short to .8" [2 cm] long, few to many [to 10] flowered inflorescence arising from the axils of the leaves with rigid, concave, triangular bracts and has fleshy, odorless flowers.
