Found in central and southern Taiwan in primary broadleaved forests at elevations of 500 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with terete, suberect to pendulous below, ascending towards the apex, branching, green with purple spots, rigid stem carrying terete, tapering towards the apex, fleshy green leaves that blooms in the mid winter through later spring on an axillary, .2 to .4" [.5 to 1 cm] long, successively single, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
