Common Name Yellow Laelia
Flower Size 2.5 to 3.5" [6.25 to 8.75 cm]
Found in Bahia and Espirito Santo states of Brazil as a medium sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with a clavate, slightly ribbed pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, oblong-ligulate, obtuse or rounded, rigid, erect, blue green leaf, that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, subtended by a large pale green sheath, racemose, to 9 1/2" [24 cm] long inflorescence carrying 2 to 6, fragrant or not, waxy, not opening fully flowers.
