Common Name The Manabi Macroclinium [refers to the province in Ecuador where the orchid occurs]

Found in Western Ecuador near the coast in tropical dry forests at elevations around 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with equitant, distichous, red-green, 7 to 10, obliquely-elliptic, somewhat falcate-incurved, acute, very conduplicate into the leaf bearing sheaths and blooms in the winter and spring on a 3" [7.5 cm] long, 11 to 17 flowered inflorescence
